2007 London Blizzard Invitational

Sledge Hockey Tournament

Western Fair Sports Centre, London, Ontario, Canada

The Third Annual Blizzard Invitational Sledge Hockey tournament was held this past weekend in London, Ontario. 32 teams from Ontario, Quebec and the USA competed in 4 divisions over 3 days. The level of play has improved markedly over the past few years and this was evidenced by the excitement the sledge games generated.

Team Canada and Team USA generated much excitement with their afternoon "Autograph Signing" session and duruing their Saturday night contest. Canada won 3-1 in front of a sold-out and enthusiastic crowd of 1500 people. The game was very physical and showed off the skills of these world-class athletes.
